The content of this site is written by Isabel Walter. She fell sick with M.E. in March 2007 at the age of 35 (you do the math), while working as a social researcher at the Universities of St Andrews and Dundee. Since then her health has gradually declined. By 2009 she was using a wheelchair. In 2013 she became bedbound.
Isabel lives in N.E. Essex with her husband Paul, who is her sole carer, and a narcissistic cat. She grew up in the East Midlands and has also lived in London and Fife.
Paul created this website and types up the content. Big thanks to Paul.
